Seat covers and dash question

I am looking for a nice set of seat covers for an 02 MCS, but have not had any luck, I read a few post about the wet okle and how people dont like how they breath. I looked on line but mostly found the generic sport seat covers.

I guess I am looking for a MINI brand seat covers. I have a Nissan and actually bought my covers from their website and picked them up at the dealer. Is that an option for these cars if so please point me in the right direction.

Side note we have had this car for about a 3 days now, what is the ****/button to the left of the speedo that looks kinda like a speedo out line. I have pushed it with the lights on/off and have'nt noticed that it does anything. The Previous owner kept the owners manual for what ever reason.

That little button controls the backlighting for the instruments. Hold it down to make it brighter, press it briefly to make it darker. You can't really tell what it does until you go motoring at night.

Also, there are copies of the owner's manual scattered all over the internet. A quick google search for '2002 mini cooper s manual' will pull up plenty of them.

I have the Spacer Mesh front and rear in my 2010, and really like them. But, Spacer Mesh isn't water proof, they really breath. You can get practically any material you want for your MINI, and the fit is factory like.

I love my Wet Okoles. I don't have a problem with them breathing (??). They are great for taking my dog along. My only complaint is they fade fast.

What seat material do you have these covers over? I have leatherette, and am wondering if the "breathable" fabric of these covers would work well to cool down the leatherette? I had been ready to go with neoprene, but these have me second-guessing that.

My issue isn't sweat so much as "ironing" wrinkles into my suits due to the lack of breathing of the seats.
