Nice job! I did mine a couple winters ago, which killed my fingers in my freezing garage. And I broke the plastic ring that holds the hand brake skirt in place, which was expensive to replace. It was worth it, though I need to figure out how to stop it from opening all the time.

FYI, that's not the Euro armrest. The Euro one looks like this:

Nice install. I am going to do the same in my 2003. I have a question though. In the 7th pic, what is the armrest bolted to? Does mini make a bracket that fits into the 2004 bolts? Also, what is the bracket in pics for and 5 for?

This might help me a lot when I go to buy parts for myself.

I got mine as a retrofit kit and you have to replace the bracket that it mounts to. The old one is in pic 4 and the new one is in pic 5. The kit came with instructions and all the parts you need. I bought it from someone on the forum, so I'm not sure what the whole kit costs new.

Great. Now I just need to see if the staelership will sell the retrofit bracket by itself. I already have everything else.

I want the Euro Arm Rest for an upcoming mod. The top of my stock arm rest keeps sliding back and it bugs me. Plus it is too small for me and I would like something a little bigger.

Be careful that sometimes the bigger armrests interfere with shifting.

So I talked to a few different dealerships and supposedly a retrofit kit doesn't exist. And with all my research (about 4 hours worth) I can not find anything to help me locate this bracket

And then what do these 3 bolts attach to? Because in all the pics before it there is not one bracket with holes that far apart. I feel like there are a few missing steps here.

I mean seriously, I have everything except the mounts that apparently don't exist. I would be extremely grateful if someone could give me some parts numbers or a link to buy those brackets. Having no armrest is seriously starting to suck.

I can't remove the e-brake console. I've already broken 1 clip. Any specific way to get it off?
