i also read that MINI offers these, is that true?? does mini offer the black side markers??

also is there anywhere i could get extreme white bulbs for those if i do order them? or do they have to be orange

 

These work. I got the same ones from Direct Car Parts in the UK. It was abour $30 with shipping IIRC.

Hint- once you get the markers out, you'll need to reuse the same bulb holder - if you get the black-looking ones, you'll want to spray the bulb holder flat black so it doesn't show as much.

The black ones I got weren't smoked (hard to tell from the picture) - it was just not mirrored on the back of the lens. Since the back is made of black plastic, it looks "black".

i got the mini accessory brochure and the smoke lens is not in there. they have the clear lens only.

yes. just picked it up last weekend.

 

i just ordered the black side markers! total came to 40. now i need to decide if i should get those white bulbs?? anyone have any pics of them... i kno someone on this forum put the white bulbs in on the black side markers.

also, which ones exactly would i need? and are they expensive?

 

How difficult is it to replace it? Anyone who did it?

yes, how do i go about installation?

 

Check with your state's DOT laws. The orange bulbs may be required. I know they are in TX.

As far as replacement, on one side is a clip that kind of gives a little, so simply push the marker to one side a little and pull out on the other side and they come right out. Extremely simple mod. Takes maybe 10 min. That's only because you have to figure out wich way to push it and which side to pull. :smile:

yeah, i still havent gotten mine, do u kno when yours are expected to arrive??

 

they still havent arrived, its been a week and a half!! and i paid 10 DOLLARS FOR SHIPPING, thats what makes me very mad!! 10 dollars is a lot for shipping!

 

I called Moss yesterday and they are not in yet and they don't know when they will be in. I wish vendors would wait until they have parts available before they advertise them.

as far as i know, there is no one selling the smoked side lights in the arches. however you can get the smoked tint that goes on the light. i did mine and they look very good.

I haven't paid anything for shipping yet, but I agree, $10.00 is a lot. It will probably come in a $1.00 box with maybe $3.00 of real shipping costs. I suppose I could take a day off of work and drive down and pick it up in person.

I generally don't mind paying a bit extra for shipping since Internet shopping doesn't require a bunch of driving around.

Depends where you live-UPS has different rates

I have ordered things from Moss and other vendors on here, it will come when their suppier sends it.

I have noticed that several companies now have the product shipped direct.
