Yes,

I did get the tracking info, and they will be delivered to me tomorrow. I will do my best to get them out as I am doing some Cylinder head dyno testing. I hope to get home a bit early so that I can package and ship.

Thanks for those that hung in there.

Thanks,
Dan

If you need somebody to step in on a spot for someone who left the group buy, I'm in the market! Especially if you can sell me the white bulbs.

I installed my PIAA's yesterday with the help of Stephen Wittkop at Stephen's Garage in Birmingham. Since I am no electrician, I mounted the lights and then took the harness to him for a professional installation. He ended up making a VERY clean installation by cutting down the incredibly long harness so that there is no birdsnest of wires stashed under the bonnet.

Without further ado, here are some pics. Personally, I think the PIAA covers are hideous, but I am not a big fan of advertising brand names and think they look a little too chunky for my taste. My opinion would probably be different if my MINI was a different color, especially if it was all black.

Nice Ride ya got there mate. What happened to your stripes? If they were magnetic did they blow off in the wind. I had heard of that happening.

I opted for the painted ones and thet still blew off. Slow down I guess is the answer.

I painted over the PIAA logo with black.

I'll post pics as soon as they are mounted. Been snowing for two days up here.

Happy Motoring.

The checkerboard stripes are magnetic and they have yet to blow off in the wind. My static cling sunroof decal did blow off in the wind a couple weeks ago though

Maybe I will try painting the logos but I'll probably just save the covers until I get the chance to be the good Samaritan and give them to someone who loses or breaks theirs.

Yuckster. What's up with the stripes?. Where arev they. I've got to go like a bastard to get mine on.

Speltzer yeah thanks.

I'm going to add fogs. I'll wait till I see yours. I'm thinking og mounting one in back on the booot for working around the campsite when you pulll in late at night.

Shows us the switch position.
Only on with highs yet be switched solo?
On On Demand?
Switch location

Big Vito you out there man? Thanks too to Dan at Pilo Racing. You other guys want to go around again? I'll get fogs and FogMan you get Drivers this time. Dan are you interested?

I mounted the switch on the left side of the steering column.

The PIAA wiring harness is set up so that the lights only come on with the high-beams, and the switch lets you choose whether you want just regular high-beams or high-beams and driving lights.

MaxaMini, my stripes come and go depending on my mood since the stripes are magnetic. . . .
