2nd Gen 2009 R56 MCS - Would like to purchase new/used DARK SILVER rear bumper
Just recently, I was involved in an accident with my two year old 2nd Gen 2009 R56 MCS. I was looking left and right when I was backing out of a parking lot having two full size vans next to me and it seemed to be all clear. As I was pulling out going 1 mph I ran into a women who was driving a Chevy Full size pickup truck. My rear stock DARK SILVER bumper was smashed on the right hand side. My OUTMotoring tow hitch cut a hole in her sidewall of her back tire and I ran a scratch down the side of the truck and made a dent in the lower quarter panel after leaving some red from the hitch on her truck.
I have no idea what the cost of the quote is going to be, but I hope and pray that it will not be more than 700 to repair and fix everything. Pray for me, please. I would like to replace my rear bumper with the JCW bumper or completely replace the stock body kit with a JCW body kit from GenunineMINIparts.co.uk, but they want $2,200 for purchase, already painted factory DARK SILVER, and shipping included. That is just real heavy and not in my budget. I will eventually do it, but I can't afford now. I would go with insurance, but they will drop me because of an accident that had in a previous car and the fact that I got a speeding ticket, where I got PBJ, but it will be on my record for at least 3 years.
What I am saying is, does anyone have a stock used rear 2007+ R56 DARK SILVER MCS bumper that I may purchase from you? I am so tired of looking at my brand new car that is smashed up. The sad thing is I just finished blacking out all my chrome except for the handles and emblems that I was going to purchase form Aesthetic Creations, when i get my paycheck this friday. Seems like that is not going to happen.
Who can help me out with a Stock Rear DARK SILVER bumper? Anyone?
Thanks.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I purchased my primed bumper from the dealer ship last week for $340.00 and then got it painted for $250.00 from JT's Collision and Repair in Eldersburg, MD. By the way the shop does magnificent work and my bumper matched perfectly , you can't even tell that it was replaced, mostly likely because I clean my car and take car of it every two weeks. I removed the old jacked up bumper and replaced the new bumper yesterday. It feels great to be back on the aftermarket side of the forum continuing to spend more money on things I want and not on things that I need to repair, but don't really want to purchase.
Anyway, since I did the removal myself, I decided to take picks and do a step by step install of the bumper. So later in the weekend or in the week I will post a removal and installation of rear bumper directions and I will post the title as "(DIY) How-to-Remove Rear Bumper".
Many people have asked about how to do this so I figured since I was doing it I would take pics.
