I went to a local True Value and found these little rubber plugs that are a perfect fit for the exposed screw holes in the doors:

It's not a dramtic change, but I think it looks better than exposed screws.

Nice one man, that sort of mod is "my kinda thing"...

Although, your post reminds me of how I'm always finding stray little rubber "feet" around the house and shop. Everything's got 'em, it seems, and there never fails to be ONE that's attached a little less thoroughly to its assigned doohickey. So, you then have to walk around, touching everything to see if it "rocks" due to missing a foot! I bet the typical human habitat contains upwards of 100 of these (well, at MY place it's not apt to be an even number, lol)...

I have this ongoing game with an old school friend... basically, just looking at an "object" you have to guess what it is, or what its application is... (it's tougher than it sounds). He is very difficult to stump at this game... I need to ask him about my little rubber foot/pad collection, and maybe get a few things put back together, as a result...

Good Share,
Tatt

Mike, you must be a perfectionist to pay attention to such details.

Those exposed screws have always bothered me. I guess it's because the rest of the MINI interior is pretty clean. I've got my eye out for something to take care of the screws on the downtubes too...

I guess I could take it to the next level and see if a paint shop could match the anthracite

What's your other car?

It's not even a car, but just a truck - Toyota Tundra.
