I bought a Rear Spoiler on E-Bay for our mini. It is made of Fiberglass
not PUR. I had it painted black & it looks great. It is pre drilled with two (2)
Holes at each tip of the spoiler. I need some advice on the installation.
What type of Adhesive should i use? Can I use a double back tape & the
screws instead of adhesive? If so what type of tape? Any advice or help
will be appreciated. Please reply to dot19@comcast.net. Thanks.

Regards;

your on the right track.
get 3m double-sided automotive heavey-
duty trim tape&go for it .the 2 bolt alone are enough
but the tape makes you feel better.
good luck,doug

3M double sided tape works very well, I used some to hold on my euro plate and it has never fallen off in over 8 months :smile:

But then Johnny Law made me take it off

Well i installed the Rear Spoiler on our Mini. Used the Bolts & The 3M
double sided tape as suggested. It looks great. Only problem that
came up was the predrilled holes on the Spoiler did not line up well
with the bolts. Had to make some minor adjustments .Will try to post a picture
in the near future. Thanks for the suggestions.
