Lamin-x fog light film to small

Hey all, I just picked up some Lamin-x yellow fog light film from Amazon and it doesn't cover all of the lens very well. I was wondering if I got the wrong one or if my order is messed up. My car is a 2012 so I'm thinking that might be the reason, even though amazon has it listed from (07-).

Here's the link from amazon.

I might try pulling the whole fog light unit out and using my heat gun to stretch it out as much as I can but I want to make sure I just didn't get the wrong one before I ruin the film if I mess up.

Thanks in advance.

I just installed mine today, it doesn't cover the whole fog light but does enough so you don't notice it. The best way IMO is to get a blow dryer and heat it up, once you do that you will have flexibility as well as the ability to stretch it out and cover the whole fog.

OK cool, thanks for the reply and I'll give it a shot this weekend. Did you pull the lights out or was it easy enough with them on the car?

Maybe they did that , making the precut pcs small because its really hard to get it to form to the very outside edge

I bought a sheet and cut it myself

Well I went ahead and throw them on anyways and yeah their small but it's not that noticeable. I think I'll be ok with it.

See if you can tell.
