Not trying to be a hieratic here. But, I picked up my MCS today & the stock **** feels pretty good to me. Maybe after a while I'll crave a different ****.

I just got me one of these http://www.rspeed.net/mini/item.asp?...7&prod=M20-540 in chrome and love it. Nice feel and just a bit smaller than stock.

I'm jealous of anyone who was able to get the stock **** off. I've had a MOMO **** in a drawer for months, and will probably never get to install it. The stock **** simply will not come off, despite the encouragement I got from other posts/threads on this site about how to yank it...

I also could not get the stock **** off. But when the Walen Machine arrived in the mail it was so cool that my incentive increased. I yanked that stock **** off in TWO seconds.

I couldn't get my **** off when we were trying to test fit the Voodoo and see how to put it in. But when the Voodoo was done and i was ready to put it in, i yanked that sucker off in no time And i spent about... 9 months... trying to pull that thing off before. Once you have a reason, anyone can take that thing off.

its a pain to get it off if its cold out

i noticed this the past summer!!
twist it a little bit side to side, the way its attached is via two prongs so if u twist it a bit u might loosen it further.
make sure u have a real g00d grip on it though cuz it will "fly off ur hand" i've heard & can see this happenin' meself
peace out

Thanks for that tip, I will have to try that. I'd given up. Seriously, the standard **** on my '02 was like a block of ice in the winter, and I presume that came up in product surveys, (which my '05 shows many changes from!). But the chromed plastic BMW substituted for the new vehicle to solve that, just isn't the same-- I'd rather be uncomfortable with a metal ****. So I will give this a try, as soon as I can. I've learned a lot from members on this site-- seriously!
