Headlights looks really good, they dont feel or look cheap. cant wait to finish painting the rings and attaching the ballast, so i could see the outcome.

I got HID setup with small ballasts that are attached with silicone. Didn't have to drill or use any zip ties.

They look great thanks for the reference pic.

I just ordered the ones from Helix/Depo due to the fact that they come with the black ring already I'll post some pics once I get them. :-) thanks

Not too hard to paint them yourself if you plan on taking them apart anyway like I did with mine...

I just installed my his kit / 35w ballast / 6000k bulb. Lights work fine with the car off/switch on. As soon as I turn on the car it flickers and it won't stop flickering. I have a 06 cooper base. Any ideas guys?

Sounds like a bad kit to me. The voltage will be a little higher (around 14 volts) when the car is running vs. being off. That might be part of the problem.

Did you just get one of the cheap eBay ones? I read enough bad stories about those on various forums/reviews that I went with a Korean-made set for a little more. Haven't had any problems with mine.

My kit came with two canbus or code canceler , one for each light and it works fine, I have an 05 S, I haven't try the HIDs with out them so I'm not sure if they will flicker.

Note: I have 55w ballasts with 6000k bulbs

I just ordered a pair of cancellers, let see if that fix the issue.

I have Maxlux ballasts and bulbs - Made in South Korea. Looks like they have the canceller built-in, so I guess that could be the problem with yours. Did you contact Kensus about it?

Hood vents

Hi MSFTOY. Can I ask where you got your hood vents from. They look great! Are they fitted to an OEM hood?
