The topic has been changed on March 28th.

************************************************** ****************
I would really like to go blue instead of red, but i thought red would be better. Now if i have a chance to do it again. I would go to blue hose.

Show me yours!!!

I'm also consider to paint my Supercharger cover. What color do you think? any pics?

It look not that bad!

I think you need to baste it one more time then it should be finished! I prefer the temp monitor that pops out when the turkey is done.

is that really necassary?
Based on your engine picture. You do not have a lot of mods under there. how would you make the temp go sky high when you are pretty much running stock?

Mine looks kinda like yours...what are all those red wires for?
I prefer the red to the blue...I have lapis blue seats, but I'm not a fan of blue, ever...

Haven't installed my red plugs wires yet, and wish my caps were chrome instead of carbon fiber...and of course, (shudder)she's not clean right now!

cool. i like those intakes.
I got BMP. due to other reason i got that.
Those red wires are silicon tubes. some of them are replace original wires and some of them just a dress-up.
It cost about 30-40 for the dressup hoses.
Not a bad idea to spend couple of hours to make my MINI unique!

I'm planning to paint my supercharger cover into either purple or blue.

Sorry that it is kinda dirty, but I really like this dress-up mod. I just used engine enamel so it it not very shiny, but still has a little bit of a metallic look. I hope I don't look like a JCW poser. I don't have the badges, so I don't think so. Hopefully one day I will have some more of that nasty black plastic painted.

cool. Did you do that yourself?
Did you paint the fuse box cover too? it look like a silver color.

You should paint the S on top of the cover into Red.

Thanks for the picture. it look really nice.

Yea, I sanded. primed, and painted it. I forgot that I also did the fuse box too. Up close it doesn't really look as good. I haven't painted the S red b/c I am not that skilled yet, maybe with a little practice I could. Thank you for the compliments.

This is mine but the picture is old now. Changed out the BMP Intake with an Alta in Red. You get the picture.

man!!!
Now i get to see some Pros owww!!
That is a biga$$ Supercharger. How much HP does it gives you?
BTW, I was really looking at the little red can to the left. I saw them on Alta Website. does it helps?
Is it necessary to have one? it is over $100 i think. try to see if it worth the investment.
NOBULL60. You have the perfect picture i wanted. I was about to get the BMP stress bar too. maybe that will be the next investment.

I'm getting a caliper paint soon, I might paint my caps in red! since i'm broke

Cool pictures guys. I think we should open a Engine Dress-up Forum!
I'm going to change the topic line now.

Yes, I think the oil catch can helps. By how much I don't know but you decide if you want this oily mess in your intercooler:

This pic was taken after I removed my OEM intercooler. I decided I didn't want this stuff in my new Alta TMIC.

Here's what I did under my bonnet. For some reason the blue is showing up much brighter in the pics than it really looks, but you get the idea.

AAAAAHHHH!
What is going on here? Is this a vacuum issue? I put a breather filter on my Integra so oil wouldn't back up into the intake side. Can we do something like that, or is the catch can the only solution right now?

You never know...there are so many Gestapo sensors in there, I wouldn't be surprised the check engine light would go off if you vented it to the atmosphere.

This is in response to ChrisFB1's response to the alta intercooler pics, that big thing is the intercooler you can hardly see the supercharger
