Interior/Exterior Automatic Windows UP
#1
Just in time for the weather (its heatin up to the 80's in Sacramento)
Pulled my Auto UP electonic module out of the mailbox today, and less than 30 minutes later it was installed and it works GREAT!
That included getting online to get instructions and removing all the cup holders, organizers etc to get the pillars off, so I could pull the the toggle panel and see what I was doing (pretty easy to remove the toggle panel, and the windows up module was a snap!)
Now I flick the window toggle "UP" twice quickly, and the window just keeps a goin! I programmed it for both sides!
Its a mod weekend for me....I also installed my shortshifter, exhaust and rear swaybar--whoppee--gotta go driving!

Installed mine friday night. A while back, Ian had made me a wiring harness that allowed me to tap into the 12V signal given when my unused #2 toggle is pressed. I used it to trigger my garage door opener. Worked like a charm.
So then he makes this auto-up circuit available. I want one, but need to retain my #2 garage toggle. What did Ian do? He made me a circuit that replicates my #2 toggle feed in addition to the auto-up! Sweet bliss!
I also had mine installed within 1/2 hour, and that included uninstalling the harness he originally made me.
The man is brilliant. I'd like his next project to be enabling the remote key lock button to close the windows and sunroof when held down. How about it, Ian?

D.D.,
You can learn a lot by visiting this web page ... check out the installation and feedback links to learn about the installation.
After that, let me know if you are interested in being added to the list ... I am "investing" in parts to have 100 circuits built ...
Jenni, Scott - thanks

A request please - if interested please email me at GBMINI@MINIsOnTop.com because this makes it much easier for me to keep track of everyone.
I will follow up each PM with a request to email me, so a direct email saves that step.
Buz - thanks! Although it is hard for me to match a screen name with a delivered person
We meet here, and on MINI2, but not in person (till MOT2004 at least)!
