My 2006 MCS is on order and should be here in just over a month. I love the Whalen **** and was thinking of getting one with a picture of Homestar Runner engraved on it. Has anyone done one of these? Any pics or ideas for it??

What (or who) is Homestar Runner?
Whatever you do to make your MINI unique is usually good with anyone around here

Ok, I did a little research. Pretty amusing!
Seeing as my car is named after a cartoon character, I'm with you.
The Trogdor character is interesting, seeing as it's a Dragon and all. I really like Homestar and Marzipan (I would like to get a PH MINI and name it Marzipan), I love her guitar named Carol
If you send an image to Whalen, he can copy whatever.

Thanks Annette! I'm glad you had some time to look up Homestar Runner (www.homestarrunner.com) for anyone else interested. I've loved Homestar Runner for about as long as I've loved the MINI (5 years now) and I thought it would be cool to have a little Homestar in my car! He just cracks me up everytime I hear him talk!

Ok, I'll have to say that Strong Bad really cracked me up. Coincidentally, my teenage son asked me today if there were any other MINIs out there named after cartoon characters. I told him that I didn't know if yours was technically named Homestar Runner, but that you were looking into the shift **** thing. He loved it, and then said that Strong Bad would also be a "righteous" name for a MINI!
Annette
I'm starting to think a club of "cartoon" character MINIs is a likelihood

Haha

That's awesome...I'd love to name my MINI after one of the Homestar Runner characters. I'd especially like Homestar Runner, but that's kind of long. Strong Bad would be cool too. But I'd also like to get a vanity plate and that wouldn't fit so I've been thinking about The BULLDOG. I'm not sure what to do...

This is some awesome stuff. I might have to consider this Whalen Shift Machine.

If it makes shifting and overall life with my Mini easier, so much the better.

polished Whalen - wings #2 - and I installed the Tiburon shift-boot at the same time... don't think the Whalen made the car shift any different but it looks great and goes very well with the chrome interior package...

I know it works with the Craven Speed or Webb (they are the same by the way).

The Whalen is compatible with the stock ****. The rule of thumb is that if the shifter can take a stock ****, the Whalen will also work.
