Need OMP Hub/Aftermarket Steering Wheel Swap How-To

Hi, guys! I've been searching high & low for a clear & detailed steering wheel swap DIY to not much avail. Any help w/ pics on resistor, horn & retention of turn indicator canceling would be so much appreciated.

I've an 02 R53 w/ the 2 spoke MFSW.
Ready to go in are an OMP Hub w/ 1 fused resistor + an old school Luisi wheel w/ horn button (1 plug terminal for + & 1 spring wire that helps press fit tight into the boss kit as ground). Since Luisi & OMP don't share same allen bolt PCD, I also have an adapter ready.

I've seen the 2 spoke non MFSW removal. Questions are:
1. There are 2 airbag plugs-green & black. OMP only has 1 resistor. This goes to the green & leave the black w/o any resistor like in this thread?

http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f22/...-wiring-27240/
Or both green & black connectors should have its own resistor.

2. Is there any drilling on the OMP hub to accommodate turn signal canceling retention? Or should I just cut that white plastic protruding stub that obstructs when the hub sits? Would this disable the turn indicator cancel if & when I opt to return to stock?

3. Do I have to cut off the stock horn plug & connect to the new wheel? Brown wire as ground?

4. Any chance of having the radio & cruise buttons transferred to work?

Hoping for tips, enlightenment or best: a complete HOW-To Thread. Thanks & Merry Christmas, all!

I put the OMP wheel and hub in a 2005 with no radio or cruise buttons. I removed the horn plug from the factory wheel and plugged it into the horn button. The horn worked for me without having to use the Brown ground wire. Don't cut the protruding stub. The hub I got from OMP has a hole for it.

That looks great, Fixed! Did exactly that. Thanks to rkde over @ m|u & minitorque for a huge push of help. Here's my thread that turned into a HOW-TO:

Very cool. Does not having the airbag plugged in cause any issues?

If you unplug the steering airbag w/o the proper resistors in, you'll get the SRS light. That means it's disabled. The only issue is it'll be like driving a classic Mini.
The pluses? As you see w/ Fixedsix's, you can go old school classic; install a quick release system; won't have to face that unsightly MINI wheel w/ lousy emblem; Ergonomics:bring the wheel closer; have your preferred size MOMO, OMP,Nardi, Sparco; you can go leather, suede, polurethane, wood.

Turn signal will cancel. If you're using the OMP hub w/o that lil hole, copy the location of the hole on the stock hub into the new 1 & drill to let the plastic stub fit. Pretty easy.
Some just cut the plastic stub & didn't care whether the signals cancel or not.
