stubby antenna recommendation

I'm looking at few stubby antennas and wondering which one I should get. Are there certain ones where the reception is not good? I happen to be looking at one from Cravenspeed and another from JCS. These are the two that come up at top of Google search. Are there other brands you would recommend? Thanks.

I've read that the antennae is mostly for AM radio and that the FM radio antennae is in the rear side windows, so it shouldn't make any difference in your FM reception.

I read a post in which someone just put a stainless steel button Allen screw in the antennae base, he said it didn't affect his radio reception.

Me? I like a long antennae, I'd like to find one that I could bend over the front of the car and clip to the bumper!

I have an Alta Super Shorty and so far, everything sounds crystal clear.

The Super Shorty is the small one on the left (2").

Oh let me throw mine in, as for the OEM antenna I've seen a couple already cracked so I avoid them.

THANK YOU, I hate to loose a sale to a competitor, but I rather keep it all in the MINI community rather than ebay, or a discount.com site.

Way's logo is cooler. If replacing the whip antenna with a Craven shorty wasn't the first thing I did upon taking receipt of the car I'd get one.

I agree about buying from a MINI vendor.

I went with the Cravenspeed one from Amazon. It turns out I had some Amazon points so it ended up being free.

+1
The S2000 has much better reception than most other stubbies.
I have tried a couple, not all listed above, and the S2000 is much better.
