Bumper Paint Repair

I own a 2006 convert , pepper white, and have noticed the paint on the rear bumper has peeled away ( about a 2 inch section). Any suggestions on how to do a repair rather than take it to the body shop?

Thanks for any insight...

I have an '05 justa in astro black.
I'm missing a huge chunk of paint off the front bumper, like 4-5 inches across. I figured the previous owner was in an accident and had it repainted at a crappy shop. Not much I could do.

You can not match Mini colours by yourself, there's a base coat and then another colour mixed in over that. it looks good, but impossible to match unless you are a BMW certified body shop. I learned this when I was rear ended and the best body shop in the area couldn't match the astro black.

I'm going to wrap my whole car with 3M vinyl this spring/summer... as soon as I can decide on a colour.
