Interior panels pained

Just thought I'd share a few pictures of a few panels I painted. Used PlastiKote. Came out pretty good, but still have a few edges to touch up and smooth out.
Thoughts?

Not reversible.

Picked up an extra set of panels.
Took a few minutes to swap out.

I haven't decided yet.
Maybe get leather for the armrest pads to tie it together.
I'm actually getting my panels painted black for my MINI.
The pictures you see are the wife's car.
I just did the cup holder rings and the cup holder on the tube. I did scratch the paint a bit reinstalling the metal, but I really didn't spend much time on the cup holder plastic.

I like this idea a lot. Your work so far looks great, but i think tying in the light color in other spots would really bring it together. Nice job!

Looks good. What finish was on them before you started? Did you do any surface prep?

The panels were the anthracite colored ones, and this is where I made two mistakes that caused extra work. Now by no means do I own a body shop or tools to do body work, I just like DIY projects. I sanded the downtubes and primered them, 400 and 600 and then started spraying.
I only sanded the panels to break that glossy finish and didn't primer, think that the paint was going to stick fine.
That just cost me multiple coats. I'd spray two layers or twice, then sand the spots and kept repeating the process. I would really say that the paint did a lot of the work to. It stuck good.
I will be doing the steering wheel silver parts this weekend, and I would just say prep the surface by priming and then wetsand and dry with alcohol before respraying.
I hope this helps!

Get a bit of white vinyl, and do the ebrake handle!
You could also do those plastic bits on the backs of the seat

Well, the vinyl is cheap and easily removed for one. As for painting the rear of the seats, hell, you've gone this far! Why stop at the dash!

I actually have a 6 speed in my mini !

I could actually get the leather and cover up the gear indicator! That would really mess up a thief!!
I'll post my interior soon, I had a professional paint them glossy jet black, similar to the piano black, and they look great!!! Down tubes and the steering wheel trim pieces, too.
My contact said he could do others, if anyone wants to PM me.
I thought I did a good job on the wife's until I saw these.
