Had Euro Kreations build me a rear seat delete

I recently picked up an 06 Cooper S and was looking at some seat delete options. I came across Euro Kreations that were located near by me and asked if they would be interested in building me a custom seat delete. Well last week I dropped the car off and had one built. I couldn't be happier with the results. I wanted something a little bit cleaner and more OEM looking than the other option out there. They did a raised "S" logo that really sets it off and looks great. I can't believe how strong it is but still saving a lot of weight.

This was their "prototype" so there will be a few minor adjustments I am told with an even better matching carpet and a little bigger "S" with their production models, but I still couldn't be happier.

Thanks again Euro Kreations.

so, what city are they located in? Looked at their website and could not tell. It is possible to see a $250 price for the rear seat delete.

They are in Long Island, NY. Not sure what you mean by the last sentence.

Very very nice.

I do like the wood they went with, looks rather useful when building these sorts of things.

Yea I was happy with the wood, seems much more stable then the plastic ones I see for sale, granted it is possibly a little heaver it looks as if the car should have came this way from the factory

What makes it stay in place?

Bolts?

Velcro?

The wood is notched to slip over the factory seat brackets which hold it in place, very sturdy.

Does it bounce when you go over bumps at all?

Looks great! More impressions and pics please!

How is the "S" embossed in there?

Can you lift it up at all to hide stuff under? I'm on the fence about a RSD, mostly because of loosing the securely hidden trunk space.

Still no complaints at all, I was speaking with Dan earlier this week and he said they made a couple of changes to the delete.

- Added more contour to the front piece to follow the interior trim pieces.

Best part is he is sending me the updated version at no charge.

It can be lifted pretty easily, I keep a bunch of stuff under there that I like to keep in the car but don't use much

You could suggest they put in a piano hinge on it and the top could lift up to utilize the space underneath for storage. They could easily carpet over the hinge, no problem. That's my plan for my rear seat delete anyway. This one looks really nice. They did a good job.

To be honest I think the hinges would actually make it more difficult to move the delete. I do see what you are saying though, I do find it fairly easy to lift up then place it right back in position.
