Peter, Randy: the hood looks great!!

Three things,

Will this hood fit the Cooper (non-S)?

When will it be available?

How much?

Thanks,

Scott

I think my wife put best when after seeing a car with a fair amout of carbon fiber and said "God that looks like crap. Can't they afford any paint.?" Her girl friend then said, "I does make it look rather cheesey. What a shame." Carbon fiber? Why? It looks like crap. When painted you do lose some weight, but most people are to cheap to paint is.

Motor on.

Actually i think the reason why most people dont paint it is because they like the look of raw carbon fibre. If you take a look at those expensive show cars at car shows, most are left unpainted as well. These people are by no means too poor to paint the carbon, they just enjoy the look of it naked.

We have not tried one on a non S as yet but from what we see there should be no problem. We will try one as soon as we can find a non S owner in the area with a few hrs to kill.

Hoods are available NOW !

the price is $ 849

But what about cold weather testing?? How cool would you look if you could tell customers that your hood can withstand the rigors of a full-on MN winter!
