Has anyone seen, or know where to get, the molded rain guards for the side windows? The MINI has a bad habit of giving me a shower when the window is cracked and it's raining outside.
You know what I am talking about right? The rain gaurds that get put under the window trim/rubber and are molded to the A pillar and top of the window.
The rain guards I've seen on other vehicles appear to attach to the top of the door frame, above the window. Only problem is, the Mini doesn't have a top of door frame - above the door, its nothing but glass. It seems to me the only place you could mount it would be onto the A pillar and roof, but wouldn't that force you to open the window in order to open the door...?

I've not seen one up close, but I know they are made just like you describe LilOleCar. As for needing the window open to open the door.... I think this style doesn't come as far down and/or sticks out a bit more.
I'll have to look real hard at one once I find one.
