MOMO Anatomico Zebrano wood shift ****?

Does anyone have one?

http://www.imotorgear.com:80/product...d=18030000P049

I know most people here are Whalen fans, but I'd like to install a wood shift **** (cold winters, hot summers here and I don't want to have to cover the shift ****; i.e. glove method). Any reviews of MOMO's wood shift *****? Will the short version work w/ my '03 MC?

Thanks for any replies!

Nice shift ****! It would match nicely with wood dash, or better yet, wood steering wheel.

MOMO ***** are universal mount and should fit MINI without problems. I have a different style MOMO shift **** on my MINI and the design of the **** allows fitment of variable shaft diameter.

I have the longer verison of the wood anatomic my MGB and it does feel great. The only thing I see is that you sit higher in the MINI than the B so the angle (at least to me) of my hand wrapping around the **** would be odd.

I can also safely say that it would also extend the gearshift ALOT. I had to cut down about 2 inches on the MG's shifter to get it right.

I inst~~~ed a round MOMO "microphone" type **** on the MINI. the Diameter was about the same as the original but its made of some funky vented metal so it doesn't get too hot. Looks great too.

in the near future. Im thinking the MOMO myself...brushed aluminum or
something.

I have the chrome and carbon fiber version of the same short anatomic MOMO **** and it does fit. there are various rubber shims that are used over the shift rod to make the **** snugly fit but I don't seem to be able to tighten down the locking ring enough so it does come loose.

I have the B&M short shifter that reduced the height of my **** position by about 1.75". The **** is smaller in size so it fits a smaller hand better but it is not as heavy as the whalen **** (which fits more securely)

I have MOMO SPHERE in blue. The rim of blue leather coordinates with the blue leather interior (seats, boots, and steering wheel ). The satin silver portion of the **** matches the down tubes, door handles, gauges, and other silver parts. The chrome accentuates the chrome interior accessories I've recently added (gauge rings, speaker rings, switch panel, etc...).
