Have a friend with an IB/W '02 Cooper who wants a full toggle rack. She's concerned that it might not retrofit (i.e. toggle lights lighting), due to her failed attempt at getting a MINI alarm - her Cooper was an early build and wasn't pre-wired.
Can anyone with an early build '02 confirm that the connector provides the power for the fog light toggles?

Everything is there - Mine is a spring 2002 built car and all the wiring and light bulbs are there; They just have to program the body-computer aftre they put the switch bank in ...

 

Thanks 8-ball - she's a little paranoid after the alarm fiasco. I think she wants to see the base that the light bulb screws into before she believes me!

In addition, the dealership has test abilities on the computers they use - they can turn the rear fog lights on/off to prove that the wiring and bulbs are present (if your friend is on good terms with the dealership).
