I have to tell you asaulo when I took my first test drive in an MCS the only complaint I made to the sales person was how ugly the alloy patina finish was on the dashboard. I asked her if that was the actual finish or was it a mistake. She said there was nothing I could do to change the finish and she said, there were no other options (this was March 2002). Now that I have had the car for two years I really don't even notice it anymore, however I have ordered the carbon fiber dashboard replacement. Personally I don't like the alloy patina finish. Also I have given up trying to post images on this site, I could repaint my entire dashboard in less time than it takes to figure out how to post an image on this site, sorry!

This is a funny topic for me as when I purchased my EB Mini S I knew nothing about "alloy patina finish" nor did the salesman. I sat in it and it looked as if someone had wiped some kind of metal cleaner all over it and failed to wipe it off.
Needless to say the salesman told me just pick up some metal cleaner and it will wipe right off. As I was cruising home from Houston (8hr) I realized it was suppose to look that way.
I love it
