I have seen chromed parts of the Mini interior chromed.
Very expensive

Can my parts be cromed by a third party facility and just reinstall them.
It would seem if this can be done it would be worth to get a few mini owners in their own home town to create a group project to reduce the cost.
Any ideas?

the thing to remeber about chromed interior parts,is that the reflection of sunlight can be a real drag.On my wife's old Passat ,I used to curse VW for putting that huge chrome insignia on the middle of the steering wheel when the sun reflected off it and nearly blinded me (Happened all the time)I finally put some tape over it.Proceed cautiously. Peace

 

It can be done but chrome plating can be very expensive due to environmental restrictions. Inn addition, very few places have the capacity to plate the plastic parts.

 

The Moss Mini catalog just came out and they show a chrome dash for 289. My first thought was the same as Holdontoit tho. The reflections would be brutal . You might want to re think this one.

Eample downtubes $350.00.
Would never think of a chromed dash.
Little items that will add a spark of light with the cabrio I have ordered.
My 2002 S. has no flash. Just thinking of what would be nice to add in my new beast.
