Interior/Exterior Driving lamp locks?

Driving lamp locks?
I'm assembling the things to install my driving lights and noticed from the installation instructions that the lights are just bolted onto the mounts, and those nuts are on the exterior of the car. I know that PIAA makes light locks, and there is a also a set of puzzle nuts from Barri that lock the lamps to the brackets. Has anyone thought that there was a need to secure those lamps to prevent thievery? Which system did you use? Anyone had their lamps stolen?
On the factory lamps, is there just a single nut under each lamp, so a wire cutter and a crescent wrench = free lighting?

Knock on wood....I've never had problems with any of my cars lights. I've been tempted to put a locking system on them, but just never have. I guess a lot of it would bear on where you live and where the car gets parked most of the time.
To be honest, I'm more paranoid about some little snit stealing just the covers!
