The factory Aux. gauges (oil temp and voltmeter). How difficult is the install process? Has anyone DIY? If so, how involved was it? I know the sending unit for the temp gauge is a replacement drain plug, and I was told that the voltmeter reads from the lighter power source. It does not "sound" that difficult. Anyone have a copy of the factory's cheat sheet for the install? Thanks for your help.
How do the gauges actually install? do they eliminate the cupholders? pics? Thanks...Mike
I had the dealer install mine. The cupholders are still usable - assuming you actually could use them in the first place (I put my cellphone and sunglasses case in mine). I think the plastic bracket which holds the gauges is screwed into the bottom, just behind the cupholder area; haven't actually taken it out yet to see. There's official install instructions floating around someplace, I've seen a PDF showing the details, but I don't recall where...
