It's not as hard as some other makes. Pay attention not to scratch the paint on the door as you re-install them. I worked at a restoration/rebuild shop and learned to put tape under the handle while installing them until I was ready to tighten it. The paint on the handle will hold up fairly well assuming you don't open the door with your keys in that hand.

i have black side vents on my MC if you want to trade?

yeah, I thought of it, and decided against doing that, just a little bit chrome adds a unique look. thanks for the input
