They sell them for $20...

only problem is that there are NO options for a different style towhook. Unless you go to a japan website, which i don't speak.

That's exactly what I did, got my old bit brace out and had at it. Very true that it does not take much to level it out. Painted that bad boy with left over red caliper paint and use locktite to ward off the casual thief. Saw these all the time when we were scrutineers for SCCA down at Mid-Ohio during the mid '60s. I don't track, but I like the style !

Hooked

I installed my Tow Hook. I thought this thread was great, and while adding some lights and other things I put in my tow hook.

Those hooks, on the street, look as ghey as leaving your window stickers up, or the protective film on your panels...which I also see unfortunately.

Ghey

Ghey, anything like a G-hay! or a mispelling of gray? because my car is not gray, it is BRG. Or did you mean gay? because I am married, you will need to look elswhere. Try match.com or something...

Ghey, people say the funniest things these days, should look that up on http://www.wikipedia.org/

the only thing ghey-er would be $99 knock-off japanese tuner wheels on a MINI. . .

really though. . .whether you like something or not, you really don't need to use derogatory terms that many find offensive here. . .

I will be leaving 2 installed this winter. If I do hit a snow filled ditch I don't want to have to install one at -30F.

Now about this ghey thing, I'm old enough to remember when gay meant happy. So I guess I will be really happy having 2.

Now I just have to pick a colour.

Does pink go with BRG?

Lotsie, how about metallic purple in solidarity with YuccaPatrol?

I actually have a few spare tow hooks and plan to get some plastic like paint and coat them for install. Red or Black and mount just the front one.

You guys are being way too subtle. You need to draw attention to it like this:
