Side plastic trims
Hey guys
Some bozo knocked into me :(. Although the damage isn't bad, the rear driverside wheel arch (the black, plastic molding above the actual tire) broke. It is no longer flush with the chasis of the car or the rear bumper. Does anyone know where I could find this part?
Also, the rear bumper has red reflectors on each side. The driverside one was also broken. Any help?
Thanks!
Jorge

The rear arches with the red side marker lights (and bulbs) are already included when you purchase a replacement plastic arch. They are very, very easy to swap. The cost of a rear side marker arch for the Cooper S is around $25 and for a regular Cooper only $10. You need to specify which model MINI you have so they give you the correct replacement plastic arch as the ones with the rear side marker lights are of different length and fit between the MCS and Cooper.
Good luck.

it was only 12 bucks for the wheel trim in the back. the light is cheap also im sure. call brian at classic and he can ship you out the parts cheaper than most dealers can get you the parts! good luck.

Yep! A guy here in the office had his son swing open the door of his other car and banged up a front wheel trim piece pretty well. The plastic took the impact well, but the clip broke. New clips and the trim piece cost him less than $20 at the dealer. I'm sure they will charge a different price for each piece, given the size and complexity of the mold. He said that it was a snap to fix.
