Interior/Exterior BMW SMG shiftlights

I am usually too busy looking out the front window [or maybe the side window if I got it wrong]. Could the mod be used to trigger the sound of a turbo waste gate. A piercing 911 wastegate sound. That I can hear. Then I could subtract rpms equal to my reaction time program those values and I could manage. If I had time to look, I would just look at the tack. I listen, but I don't have perfect pitch, so I bounce off the limiter a lot.

ok lads here is an update
final testing was done today to ensure the system is stable
and im just finishing off the installation instructions
the video is ready just needs to be edited
and here is the hard part the price for modding one tacho
which includes return shipping and the standard colour LED's
eg 6 green 3 yellow 2 red all cables and instructions to fit and programme your unit
please understand the amount of work in doing this and the parts required
and the price of return shipping
total $300 USD
if you want any variations like the colour of LED's or some of the shiftlights mounted into the spare warning light pods that will be an extra $30 for parts and labour
hope this is fair as i have a lot of responsibility for your property
i spent a lot of time researching and developing this

Shiftlights display mode
I forgot to mention that the shiftlights have 3 display modes
MODE 1 SEQUENTIAL: all lights illuminate the higher the RPM as in video
MODE 2 ONE AT A TIME: one led illuminates the higher the RPM
MODE 3 ALL TOGETHER: all lights illuminate at the end of shift band 3 last red LED
so you can choose which one suits you the last one is very handy if you are track racing as they all light together only at the programmed shiftpoint so there is no distraction when racing
and by fitting a small pushbutton switch in your car you can easily switch between modes
and reprogramme if necessary another nice feature

it looks like it still has some bugs to work out, shouldnt the lights go down at the same rate as the go up and not all stay on then just go down all at once? is it glitchy at all? for $300 i can get a Autometer CF Series with a built in shift light, and i can change the colors to i think its 250 colors.

Cool idea, & they are hitting it like bling-bling beetles to chrome. shift lights are used so you don't have to look at the tach. For $150 US dollars I'll send you tape in any color you like & scissors to make little triangles to stick on your favorite shift point. And with the money you save you can go buy a boost gage which is useless on a supercharged car ,but equally useless on the cooper.

about time someone made use of the electronic tach lights. since there are some there that are never lit up. wish they did it like the m3 (i'm sure other bmw cars are like this too, just the m3 i know for sure) where the redline lights are at x rpm till the car warms up them they go up highter.
thanx for this great option. anyone get thiers yet?
