I like it Any idea on weight? I'm assuming you just drill to mount it?

You are running the liscense plate up high in the window....are you running euro plates out back? Is that legal to have it that high up(not that it matters )

Cool....where did you get it? I saw they had the same bar for sale, but the site was all japanese . Thats a great weight for it though!

What is the legality of the plate placement, can it be too high?? I have been toying with that idea for some time now

I just talked to them and they said there are more then just 2 out there...but still cool Did you ship straight from germany or did you have a middle man? If you shipped from germany was the shipping price bad?

With Keskin wheels, KW coilovers, and weichers roll bar, i would guess you like german tuners

Careful - some insurance companies will cancel your policy if they know you have a roll bar. Seems crazy but they figure that if you need a roll bar you are driving like somebody they don't want to insure!

Is it legal for SCCA or other racing organizations?

Cage

It looks to be made of aluminium which is not legal in racing anymore. I had Safety Devices do a heat treated alloy cage for my Mini a few years back and it was sweet. Didn't weigh squat and made a noticable difference it stiffness.

PS : Notice the suede dash done in the late 80's

38 lbs is pretty much the exact weight of the rear seats once removed with all its hardware
