Swatches coming in three possible matches.

Swatches coming in three possible matches. The Wet Okole has three tan color choices that might come close to matching the cordoba leather and I can't tell which is best so they are sending swatches. As soon as I know what color matches I'll let you know.

For all you Liquid Yellow owners contemplating the Wet Derriers...

Of the available yellow colors, #320 Solar Yellow come closest to a match with LY. Solar Yellow is a tad more vibrant than the LY and, thus, not an exact match, but after a year (and one washing) it is pretty close. The other two yellow colors are way off, being orangey-yellow (#218 School Bus) or bright neon yellow (#16 Yellow).

I have seen another car with the black seatcovers with yellow (full) piping and they look nice as well. There is no colored insert in the seat, just the piping. Very understated but very nice. If you cannot get a close match with any of the colors but can come fairly close, you may want to consider this look. the difference in color will be less noticeable.

Also, the car in which I saw the full piping seatcovers routinely carries two black labs. I did not see any tears, separations or wear spots on these two year old covers. I assume they do a terrific job of protecting against dog nails, stains, and hide black lab fur quite well!

Cheers,

Theo

Pretty easy to slip on. You do lose the rear seat net area as the covers slip over them. BTW, the seat backs do not get baggy.

Luis

What color blue is that. You don't mind if I copy you do you?

No problem. What do they say ?.......sincerest form of flattery

Can't really remember the color. I'll try to dig out the invoice to see if it mentions. I do remember there were two colors, very similar to EB. I'll try to post tomorrow.

Yes. They have a oval cut-out on the outside of the seatbacks that allows the side airbag to deploy. I believe Wet Okole has a video on their website of the airbag deployment with MINI seats covered in their product.

Can some of the Wet Okole owners please comment on fading and durability? I was interested until I started to read postings on Usenet:

They do fade fairly quickly if they bare in direct sunlight. You can mitigate the damage efficiently by using their UV spray protectant, tinting your windows and parking in the shade where possible.

Have to jump in with my pics too!

One install trick, adjust the front seat height all the way up. It makes getting the straps between the seat and side trim a lot easier.
