Driving Light Idea!

I have an Idea for driving lights! First get bodycolor ( or close to it), breathable, vinyl light covers. Second put them on. Then just turn on your driving lights, even in the city or in traffic and the covers will have a neat "glow effect" in green, blue, red, etc.
Please give feedback!!

That'll work just fine right up until the covers melt. Then it'll get pretty ugly. Driving lights get hot.

LED's, no heat, just light... but seriously, if your car was blue or red, it'd be illegal to do that in the states.

except for your red brake lights, blue and red lights are reserved for emergency vehicles. you can expect a huge ticket for this.

for show purposes only though, it might be an interesting gimmick
