minotaur Mini Body kits?

Was looking online when I came across two body kits. They look very aero dynamic and the material should be light. I don’t know if I should get either of them there a little steep from what I would like to spend.

Forget it. Forgetting its bad looks, it wont do much for your car aero wise. Those huge scoops on the side will do nothing but create drag. There is so much excess material, that I would doubt there is any weight savings.

Save your money.

Tom's right though....those are about as non-aerodynamic as you could possibly get. Last time i checked most MINIs have their engine up front...what are those side grills sending air to exactly?

14,000 for the CF body kit thats freakin crazy. No way would i spend that much money on my car to put a body kit on it. But more power to anyone who has that on there car and drives it for a daily drive .

personally I kinda like it. yeah I know its not all that aerodynamic but the styling is bold. However, what I'd really like to see is a nice set of wide fender flares.

Are you talking about actually gaining downforce? If this is the case, your best bet would be a combo of some sort of splitter, a diffuser, and maybe a spoiler of some sort.

it actually looks like it adds weight to the car, not subtracts because it looks like you just add this on top of what you currently have...

...but is it ART?

Whoa! Can I get it in chrome? It would look sooooo sweet with some 22" Klingon rims with spinners and neon ground effects.

Pimp my ride.

This is true, the only reason they made it out of CF is because many bodykits add lots of weight to the car like the zeemax, so they were just trying to cut down on how much weight they were actually adding. It also jacked the price through the roof

Sad but true.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting the M7 cf spoiler but I wasnt sure it was good quality.

Come on now, it's not that bad. Remember the "Animal" kit? That is the benchmark for bad.

From what i have heard it is good quality. You could always go to JCW and see if they would ship you one of theirs(it looks much like the m7 one). Those are tested on race cars, so obviously would hold up.

$15,000 for a body kit? That's exactly $4000 less than I paid for my Cooper, including taxes. If you have 15 grand to drop on a body kit, God bless you. If I had 34,000 to spend on a car, it wouldn't be a MINI Cooper with a carbon fiber body kit!
