M7 scoop - lots of photos!

Most of the pictures I have seen of the M7 hood scoop are not representative of how nice it looks. I just picked mine up and took several photos at different angles for those people on the fence about buying one. The quality is amazing - it looks like a factory part! Anyway, here's a link:

So what's the deal with getting this thing painted? I've seen several folks here that evidently are getting them pre-painted from M7. I'm thinking about getting one, can't decide if it should be EB or Gloss Black to go with my EB/B with Black stripes.

I've seen the M7 scoop up close. It's definitely going to catch more air and help stock or upgraded intercooler.

The paint finish is high quality. Peter says he offers it painted to help those that don't want to bother with hassling doing the arrangements for painting.

It's easy to install.

Anybody want to make their M7 Scoop a contrasting color?
Like white scoop to match white mirrors roof and wheels?

What I love about this is that it accentuates the functional scoop (OK it would be ridiculous if it didn't actually capture more air). Recall all those hot looking cars that featured hood scoops (even the Ferrari Testa Rosa) and when you looked close they were solid. That's because a front-facing open hood scoop would cause havoc in most engine compartments. But the MCS has a real hood scoop and M7 has created a clever way to celebrate it.

I think it looks NICE in CR . I like the last picture the best, nice angle. Here are the pictures of mine. Last Sunday I had the M7 pully installed , which i think makes an awesome combo. M7 scoop + M7 pully

The center photo makes it look as though it should always have been there. Nice.

I know the BBR scoop here in the UK upsets the airflow to the wipers, such that they flap around in normal driving. Any indication of this with the M7 scoop?

The M7 scoop in Chili Red on a Yellow/Black MINI. In light rain yesterday the scoop did not create an airflow problem to the wipers on city street driving.

Can't say I like the red scoop on the hood. It looks like a pair of big red lips.
