exactly that was my motivation - i`m really sick and tired from all the aftermarket parts - mostly not even very creative and all guys have the same stuff. meaning from pimping HERE is customizing but honestly i don`t care so much over phrases and grammar. í`m more interested in unique solutions and to come closer to a perfect mini - technical and visual.
my interiour don`t even costs that much what other dudes pay for their mini rims. the mini is easy to work on and so its really a matter of ideas and not big money.
the pink mini below is not my cup of tea but i like it cuz its unique. it`s adhesive plastic - not a paintjob.

hi tuls
wow, in blue it looks even sharper! like it a lot but i think you can improve the result with a little work when you do the plastic frames of the sunroof with the blue material too. love the outside look from your blue one very much - the little things makes so much on a mini in my opinion.
reg. the "S" by the gauges - we cant buy this S keyholder here in germany like you us guys so its really rare here :-)
@jeru
reg. my interior costs i paid aproxm 1300 euro for the alcantara job, 1200 for the recaros like they are and 500 for the paintshop. i guess one euro is aproxm 1,30 us $. so its really not that big money comparing to the price of the car itself. if you want improvement for small money you get a really good result just with painting the plastic dashboardparts cuz the factory paintshop on them and the variety of colours sucks heavily in my opinion:

Could you post pics of how you finished the suede wrap of the glove box and such? I am interested in some leather work like that, but am wondering how you finish off the wraps of the plastic parts?
I really do like your ideas.....
And Tuls, that interior is a beauty! Same question for you. How did you wrap all that in the Carbon material and tuck it away without it looking shabby?
Both are awesome guys!

i just disassembled the paint job parts - everything else been done from the company whjo wrapped the things in alcantara. reg. the glow box you cant dissamble with a screwdriver - you have to brake the frontpart of the glowbox from the backpart (the thing where you have the place for the sunglasses and the 2 rings for cups). the same thing with the plastics from the doors - no screws, just glue... the dashboard is the easiest part - 4 screws and you have it in your hand :-)
when you take closer looks, take your time the mini is really easy to dissasemble. i helped the guy who wrapped the parts some times and the only really hard problem is the plastic betwen the windshield and the dashboard - no chance to replace it. and the one piece dash from the facelift dont fit! so I need to wait until my windshield is broken that we can work from outside to cover the last plastic part :-)
btw. you can exchange the prefacelift clock with the illumination plate from the facelift. it fits 100% - you just need to modify the wires. this is one of my next steps.
@BriNYU
the 37`s on your seats are a very nice detail, small but very fine worked and absolutely eycatching and the quality of your leather seems to be superior, hmmm - the small things are the important ones, isn`t it? btw your rearmirror - is this a part of a valentine one? could use the thing here too man... too much radar traps.
