Then I am the answer to your prayers!!!

...'cause I'm the designer of the roof graphic. I guess you could say I do this sort of thing 'for a living' as I'm a Graphic Designer, and wanted to do something really unique on my car. I designed the roof, and Cooper Flags output the final materials. Had the install done at an autobody shop in Morristown, NJ.

I'm available for commissions if you're interested.

Can't say that I agree with your views on "baseball" (OT joke) though!

Racing Cat

My wife and I are big cat people, so we put a racing cat on the sunroof of the "Frackmobile" (aka our Cooper). You might recognize the cat from Trey Rogerson's Cat&Dog Racing. Thanks Trey!
Oh, that's not a silver streak across the back of the car. That's M7's aluminum M-wing. Cheers!

Perfect for all those Buzz Droids :-)

You should see the heads whip around when I drive down the road with him up there. Shame I can't drive down the road with these:

I want a nice roof graphic now! How do they look on the sunroofs? Like does the light get blocked or they transparent?

Somewhere in between. It's a perforated material. So it's kind of like when you were a kid and you put a football jersey over your head. You could still see, but not quite as well. You know what I mean?

Regardless of the somewhat impaired vision, I'm quite pleased with it.

those are some big houses!
I wouldn't mind driving with that on my mini People think i'm odd for my decapitated barbie antenna topper.

I've been debating the jelly bean roof decal for a long time now. I just need to get off my butt and buy it! It'll be for sunroof only.

I'm keen to get a roof graphic, I think I'm going to go for the RAF roundel (see below).

I had my roof decorated right before going to a SunshineMinis Superbowl party. I've been waiting a week for the special-ordered vinyl to come in, it's done in a nice metallic black & metallic charcoal combo - very subtle looking, nothing too flashy.

BEFORE:

Getting ready to apply:

Smoothing out the top half:

Ready to peel away:

Almost finished:

Jason cuts out the sunroof:

Here's the last piece:

AFTER:

(not the best shot, too many trees reflected to really see it)

A friend of mine works at Key West Signs in Daytona, he created the artwork and cut it out at the shop, and we applied it at his house. They do a lot of vinyl applications, including full vehicle wraps (to include the local buses)... if you need any work done in this area, keep them in mind!

In these pictures the design stands out a lot more than it does in real life. I set the camera up to catch a little more light than I normally would, otherwise you'd hardly see the design at all. Subtle was the keyword from the start, and it seems to have worked pretty well... you might even miss it if you weren't paying attention.

More pictures to come, as soon as I figure out the best place to park it for the best pictures!

Thanks... I've always thought your Winston was pretty cool!

Here's 2 better shots I just took, still a big challenge to get the picture to show the dark vinyl and light vinyl without leaning the contrast too much either way... I'll get a nice accurate shot one day.

Now I just need to meet up with Red 5!!!

Since his shadow was commented on over at SunshineMinis as well, I thought I'd share this portrait with everyone:
