Yepper. There's not a lot of room in there... sounds like even less with the work-up you have!. Maybe you can pick up a new front grill from the local dealer/aftermarket. Seems a shame to have holes in that sweet ride

Here is my MC before & after the full aero kit. I think I paid $1350 pre-painted & shipped then installed it myself.

Before

After

This is my current MCS with a hybrid kit consisting of stock front & rear bumpers, aero front grilles, aero side skirts, and M7 front splitter.

Before (shows M7 splitter)

After

These are both my company cars, hence the graphics.

Paid roughly $1475, minus shipping, pre-painted from the factory. Installed it myself. Saved nearly $2000 from what my dealer quoted.

Hey guys,

My Jet Black MCS is due to be fitted next week. Colour coded wheel archs and all.

Nice cars by the way. The Aerokit is worth it IMHO. It's an awesome official option.

My question is about the door sill with the chrome MINI Cooper S strip. What happens with that? I didn't see a space for that to be present when i saw my painted side skirts earlier this week.

Unfortunately, the nice sills get hidden.

Unfortunately you lose the door sills. If you want them you have to fit them yourselves. I plan on getting some in the future.

I did a How-to for black stickers here. I just made a set for STLMINI last week. I can get more.

There are a few more pics in my gallery, but I think these are the best I've loaded so far.

You will have to buy the stick on sill plates from Mini. I had to do the same. They look good...but pricey for a stick on plastic application. I can send u pics of mine via request through message.

I can't remember the exact price. I think they were about $60. Contact you local Mini dealer and see if they have them in stock.

Actually, those sill plates are the same size/shape as the others, so you can either go without, get the one for the aerokit, or get another like you had before the kit. They come with adhesive tape on the back so you just eyeball it (or measure if you're ____ retentive) and stick it down.
