I started the thread on he cowl scoops and was dissapointed with the posts ... It's your opinion that they help? ......

 

Honestly, they do.

I'm not sure it would work too well with the stock airbox, though..........

But I'm telling you every time I step on it now, it just goes.

I spent $90 on the scoops (in case you missed it) and for that price, I think it's a great deal.

Knowing what I know now I wouldn't hesitate to buy them at retail @ $149.

 

And it only took like 15 minutes or so figure out where to drill, drill, and vacuum up the bits and pieces of stray plastic.

 

any reason why everyone chooses sparco racing seats instead of others out there? eg momo?

For me I wanted to get the best seat out there based on other people's reviews and what I read on my own.

There was a thread on here about someone who bought some cheap fixed back seat that was like $300 or something and I think the weld BROKE on it!

So basically you get what you pay for.

You can get the Sparco Torino for like $599 retail (most places will do better) but I'm a big fan of the leather on the Milano Prestige.

If only I could get TWO of them (I had a problem with one of them where the leather was all dried up and cracked and unrepairable- will post complete details once the situation has been completely resolved).

CF Hood scoop, Mossmini cowl vent scoops, and boot handle painted black w/ clear, installed last night:

I layed the clear on a bit thicker for the cowl vents. I think I will now have to do the same for the boot handle and the scoop as they came out a bit less shiny....but I really couldn't tell until I put it on the car....
