M7 Ultimate Grill Installation instructions?

My next mod (wheels are on order), is the M7 ultimate grill, front and back. Does anyone have any pics of them on there MINIs?
Most of all though I know my car well but am not very well at figuring out on my own how to do things with it (I disgrace all men, I am a direction reader!), and I really dont want to just start drilling holes in my MINI! Is there any step by step instructions anywhere, showing how to install the M7 grills? I searched but found nothing.

Any mod reccomedations?

Please tell me!

Mikey

Basic instructions are given in the box. Look at the link in my sig if you want to see some pics of my install. It's really not that hard if you know how to take the front bumper off - I have the Bentley manual. Lastly, give Peter a call. It's what I did before the install just to make sure I had everything straight.

I did a step-by-step instruction writeup a few months ago. Here you go: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ltimate+grille

be sure to click on the link and look at both pages.

that looks cool, but i;m not crazy about a grille without the trim surround.

heres an idea M7, make one of your grilles that will accept factory trim so the people that want the surround can have it!

1nf3rn0,
It is a pretty easy mod. I was a bit worried about taking off the front bumper cap, but it only takes about 10-15 minutes and is very simple. I would say that the whole install takes about 1-1.5 hours max. The grills fir great and I've gotten a ton of compliments since they've been installed. When yours come in drop me a line if you have any questions on the install.

I've got the lower front and the rears. Piece of cake and the included instructions are very clear.

There was a post about a month or 6 weeks ago where a member installed our girlls and used his stock surround pieces as well. Perhaps you can do a search and find the thread or if i get some time later I may be able to find it. It was really well done.

Can the JCW Badge be applied to the ultimate grill?
I assume just adhesive holds it on right?

I would think that you could attach the badge without much difficulty. Double stick tape, super glue etc . You could perhaps attach pins to the badge itself and then secure them on the back side of the grill. There are a number of ways I am sure. We attach the Cosworth badge on the ultimate drill with out any problems .
