Needle removal.
I did a gauge face conversion on a Chevy S-10 a couple years ago and I used a fork to remove the needles. Worked really well and did not distort the needle. Realignment is criticle because your Speed will be off if it doesn't go back on exactly where it was. The speedo thing I think is called a potentiometer.(sp) I think, so alignment has to be exact.

Looks great dude
I posted a while ago with my idea to create vinyl color colors for the gauges. I'm still working on making vector files so that i can give them to a sign company for the making. The numbers could be cut out and they would just stick right on top of the gauge face...things like checkers or Union jacks could be made as well sicne its just vinyl.
Keep up the great work

And the silver part is still on there behind the yellow transparency.

It was fairly easy took me about 2hrs. and I'm not very good with the photo program. Just make sure if you scan it you have a colored piece of paper behind that way when it scans the image will be the size of a sheet of paper. This makes it so that when you print it out it is the right size. Probably some other ways to ensure correct scale, but like I said I'm no computer wiz.

Your best bet, short of paying someone, is to either live with the slight registration problems or hand-cut the gauges.

The missed lines are my mistake in the computer program deleting too much. Not the printer. Maybe if you scan it then print not actually copy?

I would rather not do it... plus the files are WAY to big to put up on the internet... I would maybe consider it on a person to person basis...
