NICE!

Thanks for the gallery link too. I missd the SJGP, but did spend the weekend at the Portland ALMS race.

Nice to see a MINI representing in the touring car ranks.
How about those crazy railroad tracks. I've NEVER seen anything like that. I hope they can sort that out for next year.

I think Vesko's MINI was the loudest thing out there. Louder than even some of the Historic Stock Cars!

What's with the 2 different wheels? Are the fronts bigger?

A friend of mine went with his kids last week. I didn't even know about it. That would have been fun. Thanks for the photos. Competition cars are extraordinary.

Question for the NAM autocrossers: Why do MINI racers use different wheels front and back? I notice it here and on the Bay Bridge Motors car too. I did not notice anyone posting this combo in "Show me your wheels" so I assume it is not yet fashionable for the street. I didn't see this in the movie XXX either (or was that XXX about racing small displacement engine cars in SouthCal) and they tried to show everything in that movie!

Oops--just noticed Our 50's post. Ditto his question, but why is mine so prolix?
