huh, didn't know such term, thanks for the lesson.
I'd go for the aero kit (im a little biased) and don't colour code it.

i would fully paint the aero kit, I think it gives the mini a cleaner look, but i love both. it depends on the car. sometimes the black trim looks real nice with black roof and mirrors.

I vote for painted trim if it's any color other than black or red.

lol sorry , must be a term that we use here..
shooler - if u notice ur 'after' pics, the wheel arches are painted the same colour as the rest of ur car? this is colour coding.
so what i mean is.. instead of the aerokit.. i was wondering if i should jsut paint the arches etc the same colour as the car, fit in an aero grill and done.

I have seen cars with color matched arches and think that looks great as well. IMO, it draws the whole car together visually. Actually makes it smaller yet.

I paid $1050 for labor and materials for everything from a reputable shop. Lifetime warranty so no worries. I think the stock trim pcs came to $650 or so.

I guess it is truly a question of taste. I like my black wheel surrounds and I matched my wheels to them.

Well, the painted wheel arches tend to fade, that's what I heard from couple of guys who practiced the painted stuff, so I would be a little nerveous.

if you can afford it go for both but getting the arches done is a good look and you don't have to worry about forking out for that back to black.

Hey
ariercetinberk ,
Did you do the grilles yourself? I read through the MINI2 instructions, and it's going to be a complicated one by the look of it...
Any advice?
Robin.
