Do we know how this one compares with the M7 extreem scoop performance wise?

I have no comparitive evidence but I'm betting it would be better by virtue of the fact that this new design increases IC efficiency by significantly enlarging the aperture over original dimensions. All other designs maintained OEM aperture.

This now opens the door for the Super Mega Extreem Scoop (i.e. the combo of the two) which will have the short name "el supremo".

I have been facinated with the work these guiys have done.

HOWEVER if your gonna do it ! you should really do it !

I think that we shoud have someone build conversions to the horns that allow the IC to sit up right (yes, punch a hole in the hood) and we drive like ace ventura with our heads out the window. Clearly the ultimate solution.

Of course you could forward it too. I'm always up for a good laugh. And, no I'm not hurt by your ignoring me. As they said; "money talks - the rest walk" or something like that.

Any shot at getting a photo of the CF scoop? I want to order one before the end of the month, but i have a hard time parting with $250 without even seeing a photo of the actual version I would be ordering.

I assume that the CF version has a glossy gelcoat finish to it, and could be waxed with the rest of the car. Is this the case, or is the surface raw CF and would need special care? Are there more technical details, about the materials used, anywhere to be had, so that I can further convince myself? (I have been following this thread for a while, but may have missed details at some point. If that is the case, I appologize).

Thanks!

I saw the first CF scoop last friday. It has a glossy finish, not dry carbon. I know thats now much to go on but its all I can say at the moment.
