Alright everyone:
Have a couple of reasons to apologize here:
1. My hood scoop was delivered last tuesday but I didnt get it because the doorman had it misplaced in the mail room.
2. I haven't installed this guy but so far it looks amazing GREAT JOB GUYS.
So here are some pics of the intake not installed yet.
*BY the way it looks great in the living room as a one off piece*
**got a little freaked out with the boxed punctured but so far everything looks fine**

Is that carbon or is that painted black? I am interested in getting one, but I am curious on something, the bottom part of the scoop, how far does it go in? The reason I ask is that I had to trim the stock interpart of the scoop down a little bit, so it was not interfearing with the ic diverter that I made. The inter scoop part is the part that is on the back side of the scoop.

Here are a couple of pix of mine, installed on my `05. It's a nice piece, although it is only one of the three pieces that are needed to make it work for better IC cooling.
I tried to show perspectives that I haven't seen posted so far - from the side and back, so you can see how it is sticks out a bit higher at the top than the stock scoop.

SandiaSky (Greg?) -- you won't have to wait long as Peter of M7 said my scoop was shipped last week. Every day I get home hoping to see the package, but so far nothing. I'd say the CR scoop would look great--and Peter said he'd paint them for customers for a small charge. Mine will be CF of course, just to keep up with my bike! Maybe it'll be on for lunch with NM Mini Motoring on Thursday? You should see the bBK on my car--woohoo, talk about *huge tracts of ...brake!"
cheers,

TheWrks - Thank you for the inspired photochop. As if I needed additional motivation...
Phil - I believe I'm overcome with brake envy. While I won't be able to attend the NM luncheon on Thursday, let me know when the scoop arrives. I want to see it in the ummm.. fiber.
All - for those who don't know Gandini's reputation as a craftsman, he is legend in these parts and made my Aero Grille installation look as if it came straight from Oxford. I hope to tap these talents (with an appropriate bribe of course) to help fit the M7 Ram Air Scoop to my Alta intercooler diverter. I realize that there has been plenty of discussion about this combination on pre-production forms, but when it all comes together on my boat we'll take pictures and post (if somebody hasn't already done the favor).
Now to find some funds and get in line...
