Hi everyone...

The reason for this small delay, has been us trying to find the best way of
producing the CF scoop. The production up to last week was a wet layup, very
pretty but the amount of time to make the part was excessive and my composite guy told me in no uncertain terms, if he is to make these scoops it
has to be done with a vacuum bag system....period.
So we are getting more in early this week, and with that I hope most of the back orders will be met.
Some of you might have seen the new price of the CF scoop, this was necessary because of the new lay-up system and an accute shortage of CF
on the world market.

New price on CF HoodScoop $320.00

M7 will of course honor the previous price if you are on the back order list.

Thanks for the update Peter

Do they look the same with the new lay-up (deep glossy finish)?

Thanks Peter, and thanks Sid and Joel -- woohoo. It's here and it's on:

Install took about 20 minutes over a stock IC, using the stock diverter modified quite simply with a Dremel.
The fit is perfect, a few very minor blemishes on the CF (well within QC tolerance I'd say), and looks fantastic. Very custom, and it's gotta let more air in!
I will post installation notes on my web tomorrow.

Hey....

There's no difference between the two, except the amount of post work
involved in finish work IE. no pinholes or airbubbles to fix.....

As for trade in an Extreme scoop.....Sorry no can do, but the marketplace
would be the easy way to sell it.

Perhaps I can install mine tomorrow when I take a break during the day. How long it takes to replace? Should I wait until the weekend and take my time?
thanks for the info guys.
