improvements

Just to let those of you who have been interested in our scoop project; I did a little aero test and seen a need to improve the flow of air into the scoop. I'm making changes to it today and hope to start the casting process later this week. Time and work allowing. These changes do not effect the look of the scoop just the efficiency of it. To those that have expressed an interest in buying one; I'm also looking into casting materials and processes that would make it affordable.

I had the grille painted for $100...probably could have got it less expensive but the paint/body shop is owned by a MINI friend's dad

Go back and check my first post. I did a A/B test way back with a early prototype that was still pretty rough:smile:

Thanks everyone one for all your compliments and patience's. It is great to hear and see all the interest in our project. I am in the process of making the mold now. We'll post new photos of the new scoop when it is finally installed in Sid's car.
