Quick release License Plate
As Kalifornia requires a front license plate and many of us hate to mount them I came up with a quick way to mount and more importantly UNMOUNT my front plate. I used to zip tie it on thru the holes in the M7 grill but then I decided to make it a little more substantial as well as easier to work with and mounted studs thru the grill. Now all I have to do is place the plate on the studs and screw down the nut. The studs ( 1/8 + 3/4" fine thread screw ) stay mounted thru the grill and are painted black so you can hardly see them. the pictures below should give you a idea as to how it all comes together .

I've had my front plate mounted this way since I put it on in April. All summer in Dallas heat, no problems whatsoever with it overheating, etc.
