passenger seat comfy, driver seat not so comfy!!

there is a difference between my driver seat and passenger seat in the lumbar region. the drivers seat is stiffer and seems to push out harder on my lower back then the passenger seat does, and this is just not me either, my folks totally felt the difference and Juan my MA even could feel it a little bit. What should i t do about this? the seat does bug me a bit but i guess it might get better or i will get used to it oh yeah i have the leatherette seats!

another question, i here a high pitched drilling type noise when i am at a stop, i think it is the power steering because it gets louder when i turn the wheel, but should the power steering be making noise when i am not moving and am not touching the steering wheel?

I know mine feel the same...are you sure you have them adjusted exactly the same in all regards?

*****, I wonder how difficult it is to swap the seats? Maybe that would work for you? And the sound you are concerned about, is it sort of like a dolphin sound? If it is, that is the classic MINI whine and nothing to worry about.

question on the seat swapping, if he did that, wouldn't the side airbags then go inward?

I don't know if he could do that....

I might be restating the obvious, but make sure that the lumbar ***** are both set the same, i.e. crank 'em all the way in/out and try it again. I know I can feel a definite difference in mine when the **** is cranked in or out, and with the lumbar adjust ***** on the inside of the seat, it's easy to crank one in and the other one out. . .

Just a thought. . .

No lumbar adjustment on the leatherette seats.

willymcd, I think your MA was wrong in not offering to have this fixed right off the bat. Of course there shouldn't be a noticeable difference in the seats! Good luck!
