Spinners to fit a MINI...tailpipe!

Saw this on the "But Wait There's More" page in Autoweek. A great addition to any MINI, but twice as nice on an MCS!

http://shoplaser.com/ They range from $45 - $50 each, but maybe we could get a group buy going!

LOL - I am sure some person is going to start marketing them on ebay as "suction turbos" or some such BS!

I spent a lot of time and energy to make the suction turbo so it would add at least 200% more horse power. You guys just come along and make me cry.

150% on a stock MINI. 200% if it is in conjunction with the Turbonator.

there is a little import shop near my house that some you guys might of heard of called VERSUS motorsports, any way they have been selling exhaust with spinners on the end of them for quite some time now they marketing scheme was that it gave your exhaust that turbo sound as well as helping to relieve back pressure by sucking the air out

From the actual website "the SPINNER EXHAUST TIP has the beneficial effect to eliminate the initial hesitation of the engine under rapid acceleration. Furthermore, the exhaust gases emanating from the tailpipe will be uniformly dispersed into the atmosphere."

I think they found the cure for the "yo-yo" effect and good for the enviorment too.....just for that

What will be next for the Cooper? Fuzzy dice?
I don't like spinners on wheels and I don't like them here.

No Kidding!!!

Me too,for a moment I tought somebody was trying to get his MC MTV certified.
Spinners on a MC is a crime, the car should be bought back by Mini in order to preserve the image.

Hey, whats wrong with FUZZY DICE? MINIs are meant for "youifiication". You like fuzzy dice that maybe matches your paint, go for it!

I agree with you, as long as the "youification" with spinners and fuzzy dice is not "youification" my car.
There are actually some mods which I personally like but won't do because it would seem like "followingtheherdification."

Hehe. "followingtheherdification" ... would that be like ... "ooh ooh Johnny got Big Brake Kit so I got to too (even though Johnny never would actually have a need for it?)

Too funny
